First official shoot of the new year! We were pretty lucky and had just missed the -16c day when we did this shoot last Sunday. Kelly & Brad chose a great spot for their engagement shoot and I think their dog Colby enjoyed the shoot as well! Why is it that dogs never get tired of finding a stick? LOL. I had a great time shooting all three of them but I realize I’m extremely out of shape. While Kelly and Brad casually strolled, I huffed and puffed and I was lucky there was no wind to blow me over lol. I’m looking forward to getting back into the wedding season with all the lifting, squatting and running around.
These two are so sweet and I’m happy they’re the first wedding of the year! Yay to March, Kelly & Brad’s wedding, warmer weather and longer days!

Navy Nhum - The trees are definitely nice! A little less hectic shooting out of the city and much better air ;)
Ardean - Love the last image – them walking the path between the tall stands of trees.
I think I always feel like an urban setting provides more variety – but this is showing me that’s not true.
I’m inspired to get out and shoot where the trees are!
