I always love watching behind the scenes footage of shoots, especially when they’re as grand as this. I love this woman’s work. Sure she has a huge team working with her but you can’t deny her talent and vision which brings it all together. I think I like how she brings a feeling of moderness and realness to what typically is grandeur Hollywood. I also had the chance to check out her exhibition at Fotografiska when I was in Stockholm last summer, tons of amazing work there. It was even cooler to see the images in real print and not a magazine. This is just an excerpt from the DVD “Annie Leibovitz: Life Through A Lens”. I realized this is only a clip but from other videos that I’ve seen, it’s amazing how quick her shoots are because lighting and concept has already all been figured out before the subject gets there.
