Last weekend I decided hit up  World’s Biggest Bookstore , one favourite places in Toronto. Actually I was there as part of a quest to find TCHAD magazine as I have some work in the latest issue. After calling 4 other Chapters location and visiting 2, this location said they had it and so I made the trip down only to find out… it was the WRONG issue. Grrrr. Apparently they haven’t received the latest issue. Anyway, I didn’t mind it too much as I love going to this store. The title doesn’t quite hold true these days and it’s not the prettiest place but they still have a huge selection compared to my local Chapters.  I love their magazine section! Tons of stuff and they always have a really good selection of those snazzy super thick fashion, art and architecture magazines.

Anway, I was just flipping through a mag and fell upon this Louis Vuitton campaign featuring Angelina Jolie. I LOVE this photo. I don’t really care for LV but I think Angelina is pretty awesome. Although I do enjoy her movies, it’s probably mostly because of her humanitarian work…and that she’s totally down with my homeland Cambodia :)  Either way, I love the colours and composition of this photo and it was also shot by one of my favourite photographers,  Annie Leibovitz. Cool behind-the-scenes video too, check it out!

Over the past few months I’ve been working with a really cool company that makes official movie replica motorcycle suits and jackets. UD Replicas has amazingly detailed suits that look totally badass even without the bike. I did a couple shoots for them including the Tron and Rinzler suits from the movie Tron: Legacy and the whole thing made me really want a scooter. Check it out!

Many know Jake Mossop as the super dreamy registered nurse and panelist on MTV Canada‘s 1 girl 5 gays. Well I’ll tell you that he’s also one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met and if my memory serves me right, he was a fabulous prom date, a real gentleman and wasn’t too shabby on the dance floor. Now from a photography standpoint, our prom ‘formal photo’ is pretty hilarious, dreadful, but hilarous.  Jake looks exactly the same, all cute and what not but I on the other hand….well I really should have done my own makeup. (Don’t ask for that photo, it’s somewhere in a box with other photos of classic high school hair and bad fashion choices.)

I was quite excited to do this shoot as Jake and I have been trying to set it up for ages but our schedules never worked out until recently. It was nice catching up and we got some hot photos along the way. A really fun shoot and I’m so happy to see him doing so well. If Jake’s not busy nursing people back to health you can catch him on MTV Canada‘s 1 girl 5 gays Fridays at 11PM et/pt.

So here’s my Christmas gift to all his fans. Dreamy just got hot.
